Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 8b Senior Manager secondment within Adult Social Care. The post will be part of the Discharge and Reablement services and front end Adult Social Care services across Northumberland.  The successful candidate will be a vital member of a multidisciplinary team in partnerships with other Trust and council departments.  The post will be based at County Hall in Morpeth but will cover all Northumberland areas. 

Main duties of the job

The post holder must be able to demonstrate that they have the ability to lead a workforce and to develop and lead the annual business and services plans, and ensuring the objectives are delivered within identified time frames and in line with the national and strategic direction of the Trust and council. The post holder must have excellent leadership and communication skills. Extensive management experience is essential.

The Senior Manager will work in partnership, leading their specialist area towards the achievement of the overall strategic vision by pursuing best practice and implementing value for money.
